Dads & A Mother’s Love

Being male, for all of my life I never really “got” the whole maternal instinct thing. Don’t get me wrong, I love my kids and would go to the ends of the earth to protect them and to give them any opportunity I could. But I have always heard that a “mother’s love” was so different–and I never got it. Till now. I consider myself fortunate in that my kids have all been relatively healthy all their lives.
