Welcome Home

Well over the next 12 hours, families from our Alaskan Cruise, Turks & Caicos, and Jamaica will trudge through their own front doors. Likely the maid service will not have followed, but I hope everyone arrived home safe and sound and are ready to share the tales of your trips. Some freaked out kids, an ambulance ride, emergency surgery and 24 hours I am back at home trying to figure how to live life for 6 weeks with a leg that does not bend! I wish the story was a bit more exciting, but alas. I held out for 46 years for spending any time in a hospital. So, my jaunt to Jamaica and Turks is…

The New Look of Single Parent Travel

Well, it has been a long time coming but we have launched a new look for SPT. Hopefully it will be a cleaner, less clutteres experience for you and add a bunch of new features! Most importantly, this new publishing platform will allow me the ability to update and change at a moment’s notice! Whew! There are three main areas of the new site. Blog, trips, and resources. The Blog (which is this) is an online journal of sorts. I hope to update it frequently if not daily, so please…
