PACKING
LIST FOR U.S. WEST Three Week trip
- 2 or 3 pair jeans 1 pair cotton or khaki slacks
- 4 pair shorts 6 or 7 T-shirts (We'll buy a couple more along
the way)
- One nice shirt
- 7 sets of socks and underwear (should include 2 sturdy pairs
of socks for serious hiking days)
- 1 or 2 sweaters or sweatshirts lightweight jacket (optional)
- Rain jacket or poncho (essential)
- 2 pair of sneakers
- 1 baseball cap to protect from sun
- Sunscreen
- 2 bathing suits
- pajamas or night clothes
- lightweight flashlight
- binoculars (optional)
- pocket knife
- 2 water bottles
- 2 small backpacks
- Camera and lots of film and camera batteries
- Stamps for postcards
- Games and toys
- Walkie talkies
- Toothbrush and personal hygiene items
- Clock radio
- Extra batteries for anything that needs batteries
- Sunglasses
- First Aid kit
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Pack everything in a large duffle suitable for carry-on.
- Additional articles such as toys, games etc. for flight may
be carried in a flight bag.
