Howdy folks,

I just returned from the Rocking Horse Ranch in Highland, NY and wanted to tell you a little about the resort and the upcoming Single Parent Tours weekend we are hosting. The place was enormous, complete with a lake, 100 horses (everyone is guaranteed a daily ride) and a wonderful kids camp and nursery program. The food was good with lots of choices for adults as well as kids. Besides the 60 million indoor and outdoor activities for adults and kids there is nightly entertainment.

For the weekend that we are organizing Nov. 14-16, Friday night is our single parent family get-together cocktail party, followed by line dancing instructions for our group. That night is Country and Western night, bring your cowboy boots, folks!

After a leisurely breakfast on Saturday morning, we have a round of mini-tournaments for family fun: shuffleboard, horseshoes, and miniature golf. Learn to play bocci! Depending on group size, we have also scheduled a volleyball tournament. Saturday night we join together for dancing and family entertainment. Later that evening the adults will enjoy a comedy show while the kids participate in their own ice cream party.

Throughout the weekend you are free to enjoy dozens of other activities with your new found friends. Don't forget to schedule at least one horseback ride!
