It is easy to find a Beaches branded video, but that it marketing fluff. Here is an amateur produced recent video of the Beaches Negril. It is by a Canadian travel agent and geared somewhat to destination weddings, but it gives you a very good idea of what to expect as we get to jammin’

Just a note…due to our longstanding relationship with Beaches, we are assured the lowest price. We also monitor their pricing weekly and if the pricing drops at all, we automatically cancel and re-book your vacation to get you the lower price!

  1. When I click on flyer for beaches negril it brings up the one for Ocho rios.
I wanted the breakdown of room descriptions and pricing.

  2. Hi. I think I’vemissedthe datesfor theNegril trip? Can you advise?

  3. Hi Jon

Is single parent travel going to Beaches Turks this year?
If not, what are the dates for Beaches Nigril?

    Thanks, Steve Cash

    • Hi Steve–

Due to a significant construction at the resort (and knowing that schedules in the Caribbean tend to be …shall we say…relaxed) we opted to slide to Negril and the dates are August 9 to 16.

  4. This sounds GREAT, but our school goes back in session on Aug. 13th….
Just found this sight so I’ll search for more opportunities!!

  5. Are there trips for just a few days or is this sight just for week long vacations?

  6. What are the temperatures like during August?

  7. OK, haven’t followed through on one of these SPT trips but I think this summer will be the one. Curious about choosing between Negril vs. Ocho Rios though? That week is perfect timing.

Also curious how the meet-other-people part of these trips works? Do we meet and mingle here online and then seek each other out when on the ground, or are there any pre-planned efforts at the resort?

    • Hi Jason–

The two resorts are different. Negril is a LOT larger and the beach is spectacular. Ochi has a smaller beach and is much smaller. Amenity wise they are comparable, but the Ochi property is a favorite of mine. The personality of the resort better suits me. It is VERY casual, and homey to a point. I find Negril, due to its size, seems more along the lines of a grand resort….it’s hard to define and different personalities will like different things. Negril may be a bit more formal, Ochi not so much.

I hope you can join us!

  8. Hi it’s Ann again,,,,,,,,,,,,, can you get back to me? I’m going to call in morn,,,,,, Talking abt feb 2015. Anysingle parent trips ….?????

  9. Hi, This is my first visit to the site. I am a newly single parent but love to travel. What should I expect in the travel? Do other single parents meet as a group and travel or it is just a booking site wherein you get deals and then upon arrival you are on your own? I have other questions but will start from here. Thanks,

    • Hi Sage..

Yes and no….how is that for vague. We are a travel agency but we also add to the product. We draw from all over, so traveling TO a destination is usually not together (sometimes it is and if we can coordinate we will) but once there, we integrate some special SPT events, meet and greets, special dinin options and activities. We facilitate people in a similar situation meeting like people. Does that help?
