2010 Holiday Cruise – Dec 26, 2010 To Jan 2, 2011

Western Caribbean Cruise On The Freedom Of The Seas

Just imagine, no school for a week, most of the holidays are past, and another kitchen is the last thing you want to see. We have the answer for you! Come sail away with Single Parent Travel to the Western Caribbean on the Freedom of the Seas! Don’t worry about planning your day–we have you covered! Cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for kids who are bored? Not gonna happen! Allow yourself to be pampered for seven nights while working on your tan and frolicking in the Caribbean Sea during the days!

We set sail from Port Canaveral (a short hop from the incredibly affordable Orlando airport) on December 26th on our jaunt through the Western Caribbean. We will visit Labadee, Haiti where you can explore Royal Caribbean’s private oasis**; then it is off to Ocho Rios, Jamaica; then to Grand Cayman; and if that was not enough, a final port call at Cozumel, Mexico! In addition there are two days at sea where you can explore all the ship has to offer!

And speaking of the ship, she is beautiful and has all the bells and whistles. Ben & Jerry’s, Johnny Rockets, ice skating, rock climbing, surfing, swimming, mini golf, basketball, shows, and so much more. This ship has freshwater pools, clear bottomed jacuzzis overhanging the sides of the ship, daily entertainment, and more restaurants and shopping than you can imagine.

PLUS!! Royal Caribbean has some special surprises for New Years Eve. Ringing in the New Year at sea is spectacular with events for children and adults. It is quite the party and when you have the Caribbean winds blowing in the air, it really turns a special day into something spectacular!

To reserve your space, we need a $500 refundable deposit immediately with the balance due no later than September 25, 2010. Your cruise price includes all the taxes, fees and port charges. Airfare (if needed) insurance, and transfers (if needed) are additional. We can get cabins that accommodate 3 or 4–please call for pricing.

  • Interior Cabin (Category M) $1429
  • Balcony Cabin (Category D2) $2078
  • Junior Suite (Category JS) $3388

All prices are per person

  1. My sis has 3 kids who by this cruise would be 5,4 and 1 years of age. The price is for the room and that is for 1 little human?
    Thanks, Nush’s sister

  2. This is a wonderful opinion. The things mentioned are unanimous and needs to be appreciated by everyone.

  3. Hi, I am a single mother of a 9 year old boy who will be 10 in January 2011. I wanted to take him somewhere new and exciting for the big 10. I’ve been looking online for ideas and haven’t found anything. I have been considering a cruise but would like to consider other options as well. I was wondering if you had any suggestions for websites and or vacation spots.

    Thanks

    • Deneisha– I assume in January you would be looking for fun and sun. Jamaica is wonderful as is the Riviera Maya south of Cancun in Mexico. Both have culture, beauty, and are affordable.

We’d be happy to look into it some more for you, but we need soem more information–what type of trips do you like, budget, time availability, etc.

Give us a call at 888-277-8543 or shoot me an email at john@singleparenttravel.net

  4. any thoughts on the minimum age for kids on a cruise like this?

    • There is no real minimum as there will be plenty of kids. However, if you are looking to take advantage of the kids clubs, they do need to be three for that.

I hope you can join us!

      John

  5. I have teens, 12, 16 and 18 – what would the cost be for them plus me? Where is this cruise out of and do we book our flights? Can you suggest any other trips that may be great for them

    • The cost for additional (3rd and 4th) woudl be $895 per person on top of the first two people. The ship leaves from Port Canaveral (central Florida east coast) and the airport woudl be Orlando (MCO). We can arrange airfare, but would need to know your origin to get pricing!

      Best-
      John

  6. How many families do you currently have booked for this trip? Do you know average termperatures for the various ports?
    Many thanks,
    Kim

    • Hi Kim–right now there are only 4 families booked so it is not a large group by any means. I have had to return the unsold space to the cruise line and will have to see if there is still space available and at what cost. You can figure the temperature to be in the 80s for Florida and high 80s at most of the port stops.
