2009 Holiday Cruise – December 26-January 3

Celebrate A New Year At Sea

Independence_of_the_seasThere is no better way to decompress from the holidays than to take a cruise! Why not celebrate the New Year in style and welcome 2010 with Single Parent Travel?

Our New Year Celebration will be somewhere between St. Maarten and Ft. Lauderdale after visiting St. Maarten, St. Thomas, San Juan and Labadee on one of the newest ships afloat–the Independence of the Seas!

Currently, this ship is the largest passenger ship sailing the seven seas and comes complete with rock climbing, surfing, ice skating, and boxing–all on board! And you can be sure Royal Caribbean has a wild and fantastic New Year’s Party planned for us on this special holiday cruise!

sxmWe sail from Ft. Lauderdale on December 26th at 5pm and spend 8 wonderful nights on this great ship. After cruising for a day, we will spoend a day in Labadee, Haiti at Royal Caribbean’s private oasis. From there it is on to historic San Juan, the shopping of St. Thomas, and the beaches of St. Marteen. Wind down with two more days of cruising the open sea before arriving back in Ft. Lauderdale, fresh and relaxed and ready to tackle the New Year–and school!

We were only able to get a dozen cabins on this special sailing. A $500 refundable deposit holds your cabin and the final payment will be due September 20th.

Pricing for one adult and one child on this very unique extended cruise (most cruises are 3, 5, or 7 nights) :

  • Interior Cabin   $3444
  • Promenade Cabin   $3954
  • Balcony Cabin   $5613

Triples and quads are available, please call or email for more details.

  1. I am interested in the single parent cruise for one adult and 2 children ages 9 and 12. Please advise if there is any availability for December 26 – January 3rd 2010/2011. Thanks very much.

  2. I am also looking for a 4 or 5 day cruise (maybe 7 day if there’s a great deal) for a single mom with a 14 yr old boy (and probably one of his friends), preferably departing from Galveston on either Carnival or Royal Caribbean.

    • Hi Nancy–we can certainly look for a cruise for you. I am not sure we are going to be doing a group from there as Galveston is not an easy port for flights–it is a great drive market, but for others coming from a distance, it tends to be a little hassle. On cruises, we try to focus on reasonable airfare ports and then look at distance from airport to port.

If you have some dates, I woudl be more than happy to get some information and pricing for you on a Glaveston sailing. Send me an email at john@singleparenttravel.net
