Where is Haleigh Cummings?
Haleigh Cummings, missing 5-year old girl from Putnam County, Florida
While everyone is squawking about Octomom, this new story from Florida about Haliegh Cummings, a missing 5 year old girl from Putnam County Florida, really does not sit right with me at all. From what I have seen on the news:
- Mom and Dad are unwed and Dad wins custody of two kids
- Both parents are in their mid-20s
- Mom lives about 2 hours away and see her children every two weeks
- Dad has known his 17 year old girlfriend for 3 to 4 months and she is living with him and his children
- He works as a crane operator and gets home from work at 330am
- The daughter was sleeping in the same bed as the 17 year old <strike>babysitter</strike> girlfriend and goes missing
- When the girlfriend wakes up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it is unknown if the child was missing <em>before</em> she went to the bathroom, or <em>after</em> she returned
- The police will not comment on a lie detector test, but the testees says they passed
- The mother of the girl and her mother seem to have an ax to grind with the father
Other tidbits are that there are 44 registered sexual offenders within a mile of their home. I mean really now, a 17 year old girlfriend? Moving her in after three months? Choose you MSN emoticons and sen to your friends. And this parent was the best choice? There is something VERY strange about this whole thing and it seems like it will not turn out well in the end. I am not sure who I am more suspicious of, the Mom or the Dad!

I guess i’m concerned about the fact that haleigh came up missing 70 miles away from where caylee was found, the question, lets hope the right people are in jail, sometimes when it looks like the evidence is overwelming, ,then its wrong, just a suggestion, are we looking in the wrong place?
That is certainly disconcerting, but I saw an interview last night and it seems tha parents are hell bent on hanging one another. The mother says the father used to beat her. A friend of hers says she saw the dad back hand the girl.
The dad says no, and says the mom is out to get him. ANd then chases the reporters off the property, and puts on the waterworks.
Dad is hiding something. Not saying he did it, but he is hiding something!
The father was at work when the child went missing, the girlfriend was in bed, where was the bio mom & does she have a boyfriend if so where was he? Also where is the 3yr old boy at this time & does he not talk? A three year shuld be able to answer simple questions such as when you went to sleep was sissy here yes or no….
The father was on his way home from work. 3am as a crane operator? Bio mom lives 100 miles away and does have a fiance. Have not heard anything on the 3yr old brother. But it is all very bizzarre!
all i know is that i think they should investigate the fathers girlfriend come on now she has to have felt when haleigh was taken from the bed!!! I think she had sumthing to do with it she probably planned it!!!
I agree–and this is a fairly substantial kid–not an infant!
i just pray for all family members involved and hoep for a safe return and that the person who has taken this child or is involved with taking this child, ares wiftly and justly punished.
I definately think the mother should be taken a closer look at. She seems upset about how the father got custody, and she and her mother seem to be pointing fingers and questioning the girlfriends story. Then, she is the one who said the brother saw the “man in black”. Is she trying to direct attention away from herself? I heard yesterday that she vanished right before the police were coming to collect a dna sample, but haven’t heard what happened since.
The Girlfriend looks like she is three sheets to the wind, no clue whatsoever as far as even being able to take of her self, In an interview I saw she could not even talk on her own the Dad of Haliegh was coaching her on what to say, I think sadly they Both had something to do with her disappearnce
I think that the whole thing is crazy..And i also think that they need to be qeustioning everyone from the bio mom and her fiance and the dad and his family…I think this is a repeat of the caylee anhony case…These young people are sick in the head…And i think they should all be locked up until someone talks,cause even thow the child is missing its ovious that she became missing right from inside the house so yes i think they should lock them all up until someone finds the little girl …
I know what Dad and the new Mrs. are to. Haliegh hasn’t been kidnapped nor murdered because they know who has her. Too much info came out on how much George & Cindy made on Caylee’s pics, their interviews, and opening the home to see her room and the Dad & Missy, mitsy (whatever her name is) put this together. They are doing everything the Anthony’s did to get $$$$$ quick and they have decided “why not”, we can get rich too and then Haliegh will turn up in a mall or park ,unharmed, and all will be well and that’s why they think she doesn’t need an attorney, even though, he has 2 for himself. Let’s see how close I am to being right. No other members of the family are aware of what they are doing, except for the 1 or 2 that are helping them, so watch and see!!!
My question has been through all of this is the girlfriends parents…how are they with her dating such an older man and playing mom?
forget all about it-the girlfriend was “doing” another guy & he took haliegh as he left before the dad got home of course.
i think the girlfriend looks “dazed & confused” because she is…”dazed & confused”

“EXCUSE ME!!!”” Last time I checked, living with and having sex with a minor (in this case, a 17 yr old.) is called Statutory Rape even if she does consent or did I miss the train somewhere and how come the childs father married her unless it was so she couldnt testify against him. Persoally I dont believe that 17 yr old’s story further than I can “THROW A BULL BY THE TAIL” That gal knows something and she “AINT” talking
where is the news coverage on this child?have they just given up?why aren’t the parents up in arms about this?
Unfortunately, out of sight out of mind. Look at Caylee Anthony (granted there was some closure), the wife of the ex cop from Chicago and Natalee Holloway. This is sad, very sad! But the longer it goes, the chances of her being found alive are diminishing.
I think that we need to always keeo an eye on our children, because they are precious little ones. I hopr and pray everyday for her safe return. Think maybe she might be safer where she is. good bless you haliegh
this 5 year old girl had know right to be taken away, in fact i just had an little girl and the mom seems sucpious to she sits on but and let the cops do all the work i would out there doing everyhting possible to find my littl egirl no matter if the cops dont let me
and also the girlfriend and the husband has somehting to do with it to they all need to get up on ther feet and look for this liitle girl search every housre and find her thats what i would be doing

i have fath that she is out there a live and i think the grilfrined had something to do with it to.
Does anyone else see why they got married in the middle of all this? Hmmm maybe because you can’t testify against your spouse. I know if my child was missing marriage would not be on my list of things to do.
