A Single Mom Tip From A Single Dad
As much as I would like to think this is a fair world, it is not. Try as we may, we can never get the ratio of single dads to single moms up to that 50:50. But we will keep on trying.
But here is a lead for the single moms that read our site (and please–this is not defeat) but I recently met (well it was online and on the phone) a great woman from the “other” coast. Rachel Sarah (the woman with two first names) has written a book called Single Mom Seeking. Click on the image below to go to Amazon to preview it and check it out:
It is a great read! And if you are not keen on forking out the $12 from Amazon, please check out her blog. I am a closet reader and particularly like to get the insight only the “other side” can give.
Caution–she is a no holds barred, tell it like it is kind of woman. Some of her recent posts include
- When Texting Is A Turn Off (Dating)
- My Child Asked To Contact Her Father! Advice?
- Am I A Terrible Mom For Letting My Daughter Watch The Bachelor (Probably LOL)
If you are looking for a fun read, go check it out and subscribe. She is much better than me on updating the blog.
Hi John,
What do you mean “ratio of single dads to single moms up to that 50:50” – who do you get more of on your vacations – moms or dads?
The ratio really depends on the trip. Always in favor of more women. The more testosterone laden the trip more men. Typically we hover around 30% men, but occasionally it dips below or above.
